I love to go to New York. I’ve been a bunch of times and enjoyed it but always kind of felt like it was expensive and that I might be paying more because I’m a tourist.
Then I discovered this great trick that, had I known, could have saved me a lot of wasted time and HUNDREDS of dollars on my previous trips to the Big Apple! If only I had done more research or had a friend tell me this inside scoop…
Well think of me as that friend giving you the knowledge I wish I had before planning my many trips to NYC.
So basically, it’s a pass that gets you into all of the major attractions, and then some, for free! There are over 90 different things to choose from and the amount of things you can see and do is UNLIMITED. My favorite part is skipping past all of the long line-ups at the most popular attractions!
Here’s how it works:
You purchase a pass for however long your stay is in New York – whether it’s 1,2,3,5,7 or 10 days. Then you start choosing the things you want to do. Aside from the 90+ attractions that are included with the pass you also get benefits like discounts on Broadway theatre, sports events and comedy shows.
I love this pass because it also opened my eyes to other attractions that I didn’t even know existed. It’s seriously made my trips to New York so much more fun and the crazy part is that I’ve seen even more things now in less time and paid less!
Check out some of the things I did on my last 3-day trip:
- First I bought a Big Bus Hop-on/Hop-off ticket (which I totally recommend) – this is included with the pass but would have cost me $59
- I thought why not also get the Hop-on/Hop-off Water Taxi ticket as well – again included but would’ve cost $31
- Empire State Building Observation Deck – normal price $34
- 9/11 Memorial Museum – normal price $24
- Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Immigration Museum – $18
You can see how this is starting to add up – but all of these things and many more are included with the pass. Let’s look at the math.
After everything I did in those 3 days (about 10 different things) I would have easily spent over $450! With this 3-day pass, if you do five things you’ve already covered the cost of the pass.
So you can see I did twice as many things but only paid half! I saved over $200!
It’s honestly such a great deal. I never go to NYC without it now. I tell all my friends and family they have to get it too.
Some of my friends, who have never been to New York, went because I told them about this pass.
I highly recommend it and if you’re in New York now or planning to go, you should definitely get yours!
And start enjoying New York like a boss!
